  • Our Company El Centro Mercantil C.A, is located  in Cabimas in The Oil state of Zulia. Started its activities in 1954 as one of first General Motors Dealerships in the country. 
  •  It’s subsidiary company focused on assembling plans of medium and small size buses, ambulances, fire trucks, platforms for trucks etc. 
  • Other subsidiary companies Automotriz Latino C.A as General Motors Dealership was established in Maracaibo in Zulia State, as well as other specialized companies were established to supply fleet vehicles, parts supply and maintenance for the oil industry transport vehicles, parts whole sale businesses expanded in different regions. 
  • There is an availability of an existing network of well established 80 dealerships for vehicles sales, and after sales service and parts who are interested to join us in this new adventure as distributors nation wise .

CM Automotive Assembly Plant

Our Automotive assembly plant  in Venezuela ,with an area of about 700.000 sq meters in the industrial zone II ,in Valencia; Carabobo State, 150 Kim to the south west of Caracas and, at 30 minutes from the harbor Puerto Cabello and at one minute from the Valencia Airport and few minutes from the railroad station (under construction ). Was previously bought by GM from Chrysler in April 1979 and having a large production infrastructure, it was adjusted with the expansion and  modernization to  out fit the most production efficiency line with an evolutionary capacity that pushed it’s capacity of production to over 150.000 vehicles in a year, distributed around the nation and  exported to Caribbean and Latin American countries, being located in a neurological strategic  geographic location, and easy to reach. It created new realities of its capacity with and beyond automakers in Venezuela. It has a great capacity to produce cars ,pickups, SUV’s and Trucks. 
 
The after market parts division ,is located in Monzanga, with a building  infrastructure of 34.000 sq meter. At 7 Kim distance from the Assembly plant, a second plant at a cost of $55 million was built by GM  within the Mariara industrial park for manufacturing commercial vehicles with a production capacity of  22.000   trucks per year with plans to build buses .This plant  was  closed few years after, and Trucks  were assembled In the main Assembly Plant.     
                        

During the past three years our plant has been under total maintenance services, in preparation for initiating production by the end of 2021 for internal and international market. Mean while, our auto parts division has been very active as one of the main importers of parts and accessories being one of the largest distributors in Venezuela, for domestic and Latin American countries.
